Years back this month came to my attention as a number of people I knew “on the internet” were participating and writing 50,000 words in one month! WOW!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I tried my hand at it and unlike a normal person I couldn’t just open Word or something, so I put effort into building a free writing site based on a point system to keep everyone participating. We had 500+ members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oddly, the next month I did write a 50,000+ word story but it never saw the light of day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then one day a few years later after some dust settled after some major life changes, I wrote my first nonfiction, then the next, then the next, then the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then I wrote my first epic, and the duet, and last month published the prequel – \ud835\udc7c\ud835\udc91\ud835\udc94\ud835\udc8a\ud835\udc85\ud835\udc86 \ud835\udc6b\ud835\udc90\ud835\udc98\ud835\udc8f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last week I met with another book club to discuss \ud835\udc7b\ud835\udc89\ud835\udc86 \ud835\udc7a\ud835\udc98\ud835\udc90\ud835\udc93\ud835\udc85 \ud835\udc82\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc85 \ud835\udc95\ud835\udc89\ud835\udc86 \ud835\udc7a\ud835\udc96\ud835\udc8f\ud835\udc87\ud835\udc8d\ud835\udc90\ud835\udc98\ud835\udc86\ud835\udc93 and it was one of the most unique and fascinating (and vulnerable) experiences I’ve ever had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everything starts somewhere, and writing starts with one thing: giving yourself a license to write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
