You typically hear this about a large project or something that is apparently time consuming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But that&#8217;s misleading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They are using the wrong word<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Life is made of three things\u2122 &#8211; <strong><em>Time, Energy and Resources<\/em><\/strong>.  The big secret is that mostly it&#8217;s not just about time, but about energy.   We find time and time again (no pun intended) that we can mark off the time to do something, but if that&#8217;s all that&#8217;s needed then why hasn&#8217;t all that stuff happened?  Why don&#8217;t you go to the gym five nights a week, why isn&#8217;t your novel done?  Why haven&#8217;t you obtained your masters or PhD?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I can&#8217;t concentrate.<\/li><li>I didn&#8217;t feel like it.<\/li><li>I was too exhausted.<\/li><li>It&#8217;s not going to work out.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Energy, energy, energy, energy.  Do you see that now?
